Description

Mg-42 Non-gun. This is a non functional, display piece made from  mostly original gun parts.  Our non-guns are exceptional in quality and appearance.  Our customers include re-enactors, museums, and movie studios. Our Mg-42’s were used in the filming of the Tom Cruise movie “VALKYRIE”.   This non-gun has a functional trigger,  a top cover that opens, a removable butt stock and a functional bipod. The feed tray enables assault drums to be attached  and belts of ammo can be displayed.

Most parts used in the construction are  from M-53’s.   The barrel is made from plastic and this cuts down the weight if it is used in re-enacting, though it looks like an original barrel from the outside.  The receiver is a rewelded original but constructed in a way that makes it impossible to install any internals. This display piece can never be made into a functional gun. However from the outside it looks like a mg-42.  Very limited production.
