08/15 L.M.G. Bilderbuch – Light Machinegun Picture Book.  This is a 1933 dated commercially produced manual for the MG08/15, in the same format as the above picture manual for the MG 08.  It contains 77 pictures, each with a caption or explanation, plus an appendix for each Chapter.
Even though the actual title of this book is a “picture” book, a better description would be that it is a very well illustrated operator’s manual.
This instruction manual has lots of great pictures showing each step of operation, with a description of each picture to explain the contents of the picture.  It isn’t just a book full of pictures, rather it is an operator’s manual, with a heavy emphasis on illustrating the steps explained.
Originally printed at about 4″High x 6-1/2″Wide, this book has been reformatted to include two pictures on each page instead of one, and enlarged to a printed size of  8-1/2″High x 7″Wide with 86 pages.  This manual has excellent pictures on disassembly, clearing stoppages, changing the barrel, and loading from the Drum Magazine.  This is an excellent quality reproduction of a very rare manual ( I bought the only one I’ve ever seen), now in English.
