Merkblatt für die Ausbildung am M.G. 26 (t) und 30 (t) - Data Sheet for the M.G. 26(t) and 30 (t) - A wartime (1941) German Army issued operator's manual. Merkblatt translates to "Data" or "Reference" Sheet, but this is in reality a full operator's manual for both the Czechoslovakian ZB-26 and ZB-30 light machineguns, the gun copied by the British Bren. Contains several pictures showing the handling of the weapon by the Gunner in combat, with text explaining operation and handling, proper carry techniques, disassembly, loading, and a page and a half about stoppages. This manual was originally about 8" high x 6" wide, but the print was small and it just wouldn't format correctly at the usual 8.5" x 5.5", so it has been reformatted to 8-1/2" high x 7" wide, with a slightly larger, easier to read type size. Paperback, with 32 pages of text and 8 illustrations.
